How Often Should You Clean Your Gutters?

Fall Season Gutter Cleaning

For a lot of homeowners, the gutters are the last thing on their mind.

"Out of sight, out of mind."

Clogged gutters could end up costing the homeowner thousands of dollars in damage to their property. Problems like foundation damage, wood and fascia damage, landscaping damage, and so much more. To have your gutters cleaned and maintained costs a fraction of the price compared to the potential cost of fixing problems caused by poor maintenance.

How Often Should You Clean Your Gutters?

Most homes should be cleaned, at least, twice a year. Once during the fall when the leaves have fallen and once in the spring.

When the leaves fall they will almost certainly clog your home gutter system. It only takes a small amount of leaves and debris to clog an entire gutter system. When having your gutters cleaned, it is a great idea to have them checked for repairs as well. Check for any gutter detachment, sagging, leaks, and any trouble spots.

During the spring season you can expect an increased volume of rain. So make sure your gutters and downspouts are working and are fully functional.

Winter can wreak havoc on your gutter system. Have your gutters cleaned and checked for repairs to ensure they are fully functional and prepared for any substantial rain storm.

We offer 2 solutions for clogged gutters.

The First Solution: Involves getting your gutters and downspouts cleaned on an annual basis. Preferably, once during the fall and once after winter. Our gutter cleaning professionals will remove all leaves and debris from the inside of your gutters and downspouts. We will then flush them with a hose to ensure full functionality.

The Second Solution: Involves getting a Gutter Guard System (also called Leaf Guard) installed on your gutters. We will evaluate your home's roof square footage and pitch, surrounding trees, and budget to determine the best gutter guard solution for you. We will also clean and flush your gutters and downspouts, free of charge, with any gutter guard system installation.
